Stupid Question (adams irons)

Gidday lads.

I've recently been checking out some new iron sets :), and remember reading someone say that "Adams A12 OS irons" are illegal.

Can anybody confirm this? I'm pretty sure the OS stands for over sized but hadn't heard of any illegal talk until I started reading some reviews.......not that it matters anyways to a hacker like me but I'm still curious.

Here's the link on the USGA Site about the "Conforming Grooves" From Adams.

I don't see the A12OS on there, but would assume it would conform.

So all those birdies for charity Adam got were with illegal sticks.... hmmm

So when it comes to irons, the only thing that really would make them "non-conforming" would be the grooves?

And what was the groove rule change that they made again? Square out? V in? or.....????

I think the ruling was to get rid of the Square grooves.. I think that's what I read about some wedges before.
