Don't look for Darren Clarke at the BellSouth, where many European players go the week before the Masters. And don't expect to see him at Augusta early. Clarke is in the Bahamas and said he won't go to the Masters until Tuesday.

Clarke has a place in Grand Abaco, where he and cancer-stricken wife Heather go to relax.

Hopefully he does well......sounds like John Daly is teaching him how to enjoy life.

one time at a practice round at the Masters walking down the tenth fairway this guy beside me yelled "hey Darren you want a cigar" Darren replied "is it a good one" to which the guy responded "sure is" Darren came over accepted the cigar, lit it up, chatted for a few minutes, said thank you and kept going. He is what it's all about, just a real nice guy. Freddy is the same way, will come over have his picture taken, sweet talk the ladies. Ben Crenshaw is also a true gentlemen, will sign autographs for hours, it's nice to see. not like some others who won't even acknowledge that there are fans there

He'd be on my top 10 list of guys to play with!
