fight on the golf course?
Physical or verbal? What caused it? I remember I was in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />TORONTO and me and my not so close friend hit similar shots off the tee. We unknowingly hit the same ball with the same number on it so when we got to the balls one was in a much better position. He thought it was his, and I thought it was mine. We argued about it for a few minutes and then he ignored me and shot the ball he thought was his (the better one)... put it in the water and was pissed at me for ruining his shot and went back to the cart while I took my shoot. I picked the ball up from the crap lie and put it from where he took his shot, didn't say anything and put it right on the green. I ended up paring the hole and winning by 2 strokes. I told him it was just golf and to relax and he said he can't be friends with a cheater. I told him that he shouldn't have been playing the same ball as me and when did he even switch balls? I accused him of switching in the forest where he claimed to have "found" his ball (bad tee shot). Anyway, told him the fact that he changed from his brand of ball to mine was evidence of him cheating and even if it he wasn't then he should have told me when he switched and why and to make sure I'm not using that ball. Anyway, we haven't spoken since. I didn't think it would go on this long and even before we stopped talking I said... look; let’s say the first ball was yours. You did play it did you not? You still put it in the water did you not? So what is the problem? He said, you moved your ball to where mine was and shot from there, you wouldn’t have been on the green from the rough. You might have put it in the water in which case you won't have won. I asked him if he would feel better if I just told everyone that he won and he just mumbled something and walked off. I was trying my best not to walk up to him and just knock his head off.
