i calculate i will play 50 rounds in 2010. i will lose 3 balls on average per round (to water/leaves/sun/woods/theft) 150/12 = 12 dozen golf balls needed for this year. how many golf balls do you go through per year?

Does this thing really work? I've read that after hitting a ball 10-15 times, you have knocked it out of round and it won't roll completly true. That makes me think that if you mark your ball with this device and then use it all day, the line will be useless by the time you get the 18th hole....
