I have had a long love affair with my Scotty Cameron's ( Newport / Newport 2.5 & Circa 62 No.1 ) but a new girl has come along & YES! she is so much more true, so much more faithful, and has so much more feel. I didn't want to believe what I was hearing through the grape vine - that my babies...

I might be under a wrong impression but I'm pretty sure that I've seen somewhere that these putters, because of their specs, are not legal for tournament play. Am I right? If so, is there any "Grandfathering provision" in the USGA or RCGA rules that provides that putters produced before "x" date...

I just order a 33" Studio Select Newport 1.5 and assume the standard weight is 360g. Is my assumption correct? I did not specify the weight when I order it. Do the weights come in 10g, 15g and 20g amounts? Looking forward to my first Scotty.

Is sending to the Custom Shop the only option to change out the weights on an existing Studio Select? Looks like it would cost over $100.00 CDN just to add 10 grams of headweight ($45.00, plus shipping, plus exchange,etc).
