A buddy and I are planning a golf trip to Fort Lauderdale towards the end of January. Any recommendation on courses to play in this area? Also, would anyone know of companies offering lodging/golf/car rental packages in Fort Lauderdale. Thanks.

Just got back from a quick trip to Fort Lauderdale and played Grand Palms gc twice. Nice course with three 9 holes. Booked using CAN-AM golf service...$40 including power cart with GPS and taxes :thumbsup

I don't know how "local" this is, but I don't consider it travel really... Can anyone recommend a course in Haliburton? Does one stand out above the others? I'm headed to a cottage in a few weeks and plan on disappearing for a morning.

Anyone golfed there? If I can get on is the Mid-Ocean Club worth it? I can probably play 3 rounds, was thinking of going all out with Mid-Ocean and Port Royal. Probably try the Par3 at the Fairmont as well.
