  3. pledge to charities

I pledge $5 for every birdie I make this golf season, and $20 for every eagle to go to a registered charity in Canada. At the end of each month, I'll tally up the birds, and make the gift. I think this is a great way to motivate myself to shoot lower scores, and not feel so guilty about playing so...

  4. Red face pledge to charities - 2011

2nd annual pledge to charities. :smash $5 for birdies, $20 for eagles (or pick your own amounts to give). Last year's pledge had 9 participants, we recorded over 200 birdies/eagles and raised over $1,000 for Canadian charities. Click here for the 2010 thread. I assume the same players from last...

  5. PM malfunction's

I seem to be receiving pairs of PM's, and I see I sent a pair (instead of the 1 I actually sent). Also I had 4 PM's in my inbox but my indicator in the top right said I had 0. And everytime I send a PM my browser goes to a blank page instead of back to my PM box.

Was wondering what your guys thoughts were on using a poker chip as a ball marker? There was a Golf WRX thread about it last year and some people have some pretty firm stances against it. http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/topic/394713-trend-of-using-poker-chips-as-ball-markers/ What say ye,...

If golf balls are completely enclosed in a sealed outer layer, why would used pond balls be of lesser quality than those picked up in the woods? 26. Pre shot routines

So I have never been a big advocate of practice swings. Mostly because I see people take too many and it really throws the pace of play off (not 1-2 but acting like a pro). So I had essentially trained myself to help pick up other players slow play by playing faster. My routine was, get distance -...
