I played Emerald Links South today and I can't believe the 150 yard markers are correct. I think they had better check the distance on that hole and the next. Playing into the wind and still nowhere near getting it on the green. Other than that it was very enjoyable.

Has anyone played the Algonquin course in Maniwaki? I have spoken with one person who has played it, and thought it was a great track. Any comments appreciated!

With this debate going on about where to join, or what is good value for a membership, here is my idea or philosophy. First of all, find courses that you enjoy playing. Pick 3 or 4 that are similar, that you like to play, are within reasonable driving distance and not WAY out of your price range...
