  2. NHL Playoffs

For all you Ottawa folks out there who go to ScotiaBank Place and cheer for the Leafs and/or Les Habs - one question: who is in the playoffs ?

  3. Fleury Released by Flames

Too bad. It was a great story, and even though I'm not a flames fan, I was certainly interested in how this was playing out. I didnt' realise that they had an agreement that he would not be sent to the minors if he had not made the team. In fact, TSN is stating that he actually had to be considered...

  4. Suspension?

OK, I like Ovechkin, but after the hit tonight, I think he has to be suspended. He is a bit too reckless out there. Superstar or not, he needs to be sent a message by the league. I hope he is not seriously injured, but if he is, it is all his own fault.

  5. Spezza Injury Serious

Clouston just announced that Spezza has, "a serious right knee injury". He is having an MRI at 3:30 this afternoon which will give a better idea of how long he is out. I know he has not had a very good start, but he has started to score as of late, and he is still the team's number 1 centre. I...

  6. Noooooooo! Not Alfie too.....

Well, that was an interesting game last night. I guess it happens and perhaps should not read too much into it, but if Alfie is out for any length of time, combined with the loss of Spezza, then this could be a very rough stretch for the Sens, and perhaps even a season defining stretch. Here's...

  7. Sens game currently streaming on website...

FYI, the 1:00 pm game in Boston is available in the Ottawa region for free on SensTV on the Sens' website. There is no local TV coverage for this game. Something to do while at work....

  8. Canadians to buy out Laraque

  9. Wow (kind of)

Christoph Shubert did not make the German Olympic hockey team. 6 other NHL players and 1 from the AHL did. A bit of an ego shot to a guy who always seemed to have a bit of an inflated sense of worth in my opinion.

What the sens are missing (other than a power forward) is fan support. Look what they did for calgary. http://www.smithcorp.info/~fgirls/puckable/phpix/index.php Ty

  11. Poll Poll: Pros vs Olympics

I am the only one who has mixed feeling about sending pros to the Olympics? :confused I know the Olympics is all about the $ now (as with all pro sports)... However, why is it OK to send pros for hockey, basketball and baseball (?) but not for the other sports/athletes... For instance, "pro"...

  17. Sens goin after the Dominator...Opinions?

Personally I think it's a great move on their part. Lalime has shown in the past that when the pressure mounts, he looses his cool. Hasek is a proven winner and over the past 10 years has been one of the top three goaltenders in the league. What do you all think?
