We play at this course every night after work on Mondays. First time out last Monday, only Sumac Grove was open, the par 61 course. It was in pretty good condition. I see now the big course is open now. Might try and get out this afternoon.

Anybody play yet and how are the conditions?

Played yesterday,great deal,green fees and power cart for 28.75 tax included.Was very quiet,but greens were punched recently so putting was not much fun,seeing the ball bouncing along going left then going right,lol....but such a beautiful setting with the colors and mountains.

Are there cheap and cheerful tournaments in the Ottawa area that a public player can enter? I know I don't have a chance of winning, but I do appreciate the spirit of competition.

The St Laurence inter club play is 12 teams, I think. Who are the 12 teams and how does it work? If a newer course that wasn't involved in such a tournament wanted to start one what courses out there may be interested in playing in a 2 day say 14 man team event starting next year?

I just talked to the guy at the proshop and he told me they were starting to aerate the greens on Wed. He told me the price wont likely be changing like they did at Stonebridge... Just FYI for everyone.

Has anyone been out to Hammond lately? What were the greens like? I was out there in April and there were in rough shape with lots of dead patches with no grass at all. Have they improved since? Thanks.
