I am 26 this February, I am looking for an intermediate membership. Closer to Ottawa the better. Anyone know of a good club to join for a good price? I have looked up a few but figure someone on here has been in the same boat in regards to an intermediate membership. Cheers,

I went at Golf Town to help out a friend pick out the right set of irons Saturday afternoon. I tool the opportunity to try out the Cleveland launcher 460 and comp 460. The simulator is a joke. This thing is cranked up so that the customer thinks he hits the ball a mile. I hit about 20 drives....

does anyone know of any practice ranges in the ottawa area that use only titleist pro v1 balls to customers? i figure it's best to practice with the ball i'm going to play with rather than practice with a different ball. i think hunt club does, but their walls are too high for me to jump.

You have to play Cobden :) :thumbsup Played today--hardly anyone there--everything cut and all the leaves blown off greens and fairways. They have punched the fairways but all the plugs have been picked up. Got to go back--Casselview tomorrow.

I'm thinking of getting a membership next year. I was thinking of getting one at glenmar AND one at greensmere or the canadian. I figure I've played enough golf this year to to have covered the cost of two memberships. Maybe if I get only one membership I can pocket an extra $1300 bucks next season...

What's your opinion? Which course in the Ottawa area has the best bang for your buck. This doesn't necessarily mean it's the least expensive, it's the best overall for price, quality of service, conditioning, pace, etc....
