Looking to try a shorter shaft in my driver again. Does anyone have a backup lying around that is around 43 inches? Looking for anything not too old, hopefully 440-460 cc shaft. I just want to try before going that route. Gripping down does not help me. Let me know :) Thanks in advance!

Has anyone played or heard anything about the new course called Scottish Glen (or something to that effect). It's just outside of Carleton Place off highway 17...in Scotch Corners... Driving by one day and it just popped up out of nowhere :) Wondering what it's like, green fees, etc

Hello Everyone, Please be advised that we are lightly aerating our greens today and tomorrow (May 25-26). We'll be discounting our green fees May 25-28 accordingly. What does "lightly aerating" mean? We're using cores that are half the size of the ones we use when we do our yearly August...

Anyone else take it on the chin with that wind today? Out at Eagle Creek today and it was HOWLING... Swirly too - couldn't rely on the direction one shot or hole to the next. I haven't played in anything like that in a LONG time....

Don't know if this was asked before. Would like to get responses especially from golf courses ... i'm pretty sure some of them read these forums. But any comments are welcome. Can a person arrive at a course towing their own riding cart on a trailer and be permitted to use it ? Don't see why not...

Has anyone here ever played Colonnade Golf course near Joyceville not far from Gannanoque. Just maybe compared to Smugglers Glen which I have played

Not sure if anyone else is having some difficulty with the Golf Select processes but I am. At the past two clubs the check-in clerk has no record of a Golf Select booking. They have the tee-off time but not the Golf Select membership #. etc… The clerks have said that they no longer receive any...

We are now open. Book tee times online at prescottgolfclub.ca Greens are cut no damage at all. Course has very few puddles. Carts are not available at this time.

The Arnprior Golf Clubs name has been changed to Sand Point Golf Course. It is open for play and in excellent condition. The club house is being renovated so the upstairs is open for refreshments and light snacks and sandwiches. Terry

Are these available? Seems to be a short course and worried about going for the par 5's in two. Specifically 18, playing from the golds or blues. Can you hit it to the pond on the left with a 250y drive? Or do I hit it shorter, just before the path. Are any of those homes in danger of wild tee...

I know 2 rideauview view and royal ottawa are on the top 100 score magazine What others r good? ? In terms of layout, difficulty, condition I've only played highland, kanata and Canadian. Not as good as I was led to believe. I would have to say I like Canadian the best so far

Just wondering if anyone has seen/heard of any spring specials for local courses. Mapleview has $30 walking/$35 for 18 holes and $20 walking/$25 with cart for 9 holes Nation seems to have reduced green fees until May 31st ($32 during the week and $38 during the weekend) anything else?

Looking at the local courses and rates and this year I do not see them on the list,anyone know why?

Has anybody ever tried getting one course to price match another course? As an example, the Canadian has just launched a Golf Membership for $225 that includes 40% off greens fees, 20% off carts etc etc... Do you think any other courses with similar green fee rates might honour this? ...

Its official,course has been sold and more homes to be built,this market in Gatineau is already saturated with homes and condos for sale that are not selling.I don't get it,too bad but it was a half decent course and it was 2 minutes from my place.:irked:
