Hey, Does anyone know of anywhere in Ottawa that offers fitness programs geared specifically toward golf? Google really isn't getting me anywhere. Thanks!

What has happened to Ottawa Golf. Used to come on this site and find pages of golf and other stuff for sale. Now there is almost nothing and it appears very little traffic.

Does anyone on here (as either a user, or as course management using it as your point of sale system) have any experience with Chronogolf? Just looking for honest feedback. I see several courses in the Ottawa Gatineau region are already on there.

Is anyone aware of any courses within an hour or so of Ottawa that will be open for tee times/ walk-on this weekend (Dec. 3-4)?

This will make a lot of people that play Emerald Links Golf course very happy. The tree that blocked almost 90% of the second shots to the green has been taken down.:party

Buckingham golf club closed the last weekend of October. Touraine golf club will be closing at the end of the day today Friday Nov 18th.

I'm looking for some information about Kanata Lakes. How long are typical rounds? How many rounds a year do they put through? How tough is it to get an 5pm tee time during the week? Or 7am weekdays? Any pros or cons about this course? Location is ideal... Thanks, Rob

Played it yesterday and the new bunkers are excellent. It's a cute and tough little course, I highly recommend it. Par is 64. I also noticed mounds of soil at the 7 hole and a couple of other holes, I'm just wondering what the plans are? IMHO the course is just fine as is. Why mess-up a good...

I supervise my High schools golf team and they have qualified for the Eastern Ontario Championship that will be held next week at the Mississippi course. Any hints and tips I could then share with the boys would be greatly appreciated. thank you

Never played the course, but I hear a radio advertisement which lists Le Sorcier as the fourth best in Quebec. Is the course similar in style to Diable/Geant/La Maitre in Tremblant? Any feedback is appreciated

Just got back from Pineview after not playing there for over three years and I must commend the new owners for the fine job they have done. The greens were some of the nicest in the region and overall conditions were excellent. Well done Pineview

Ok summer is officially here---played the Canadian yesterday----really great shape---starting to see a little burn but Mark is doing a fantastic job----the new 17th is really a "risk-reward" hole. Maybe he should have left the bridge to 18--a little longer walk but less confusing ???? My .02 :-)

Thoughts on the Score Golf top 100 list? Personally, I can't believe Royal Ottawa merits a ranking of 53rd in Canada. Camelot, Rideau View and Eagle Creek round out the local contingent. Wondering just how this evaluation is done?

If a course cut its greens fees in half would they double their number of rounds played? Does anyone know on average what percentage of tee times are used at local public courses?

Not sure if anyone is aware but Golf Ontario is conducting the Ontario Seniors Golf Championship, starting tomorrow, Thursday, and running through Saturday, at The Marshes GC. There are 10 local senior golfers, age 55 and up, participating in the field of 120 players.

Used 910, head is in good shape with some ball marks on the face. Tour AD DI 6s shaft is in good shape but has cosmetic blemishes from the back with some paint scratches. This does not affect the club performance. This also comes with a Winn Dry Tech Red/Black grip.

Just went to Emerald Links Driving Range today and talk to players saying the course was dry overall with few wet spots. I am playing Manderley Sunday and would like to know what other courses are like condition wise this time of year. Glad to kick off the season!
