    A friend will soon be visiting Ottawa and Montreal. He wants to play several rounds in one or both cities. Any course recommendations would be welcome.     FYI Cedar Glen tomorrow it's $5 a round per person if you donate a canned good or perishable item on Wednesday August 15th. At $5 for the round it's worth the drive from Ottawa, and the course is in good shape right now. 613-535-2323 to book tee times.

    Other than twilight some courses offer 2 for 1's which are great deals. Does anyone know of any other courses that have deals like this on weekdays? Cedar Glen has it on Tuesdays all day $14.50 each. Cloverdale has it on Mondays until 11.

    I played Nation April 09. The fairways were dry, however the thawing created all these little craters in the fairways. I hope they flatten out when the ground thaws. FYI: They filled in the fairway bunker on 10 with sod, so no need to worry about that pesky hazard. :)
